The MC63P is a foil-assisted power catamaran developed to meet a demanding brief for fast, long-range cruising, generous interior volume and exceptional tender and toy-carrying capacity. Alongside the established features and styling of the MC Multihulls range, the bespoke requirements included:

• A range of 1,600 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 20 knots
• A 19m² enclosed gym
• A top speed of 32 knots
• Flybridge stowage for an extensive collection of toys, including two motorbikes, a foiling catamaran dinghy and a rowing skiff
• Capacity for a 6.5-metre tender

Extensive design iteration and CFD analysis led to the MC63P's foil-assisted hull form. The hydrofoil can carry up to half the yacht's displacement, allowing the hulls to rise onto their narrower lower chines and considerably reducing wetted surface area and drag. The foil also improves seakeeping, while transom interceptors provide active control of the running trim.

Careful shaping of the forward bridgedeck creates the volume required for the large gym while reducing the risk of slamming in a seaway.

Key design features

• Large interior saloon: As with her sisters in the MC Multihulls range, the saloon can be opened to the outside through large sliding side windows and bi-fold aft doors.
• Lightweight construction: Advanced engineering and extensive use of carbon-fibre composites reduce displacement and improve performance, particularly at higher speeds.
• Foil-assisted performance: A carbon-fibre hydrofoil can carry up to half the yacht's displacement, reducing drag and improving seakeeping.
• Semi-custom layout: The large forward space can be configured as a gym, a full-beam owner's cabin, multiple bunk rooms or a generous two-person office.
